Winter Rescue

During extreme weather conditions like in winters the survival of this group becomes a challenge. With temperatures ranging from 2-5 degree Celcius, the situation is like that of an emergency, or calamity. This is more of a drive towards saving maximum lives possible. Along with volunteers, team drives through the city, spotting persons in 'dangerous zones'. Warm clothing and food is the first level of response. Person is then informed about the nearest shelter and encouraged to move there. In certain cases, medical intervention becomes necessary, especially in the cases of prolonged exposure to cold and person is taken to the nearest hospital. Winter rescue has most of the most moving experience for the team. There have been several situations where person was found almost frozen.
